Creighton's Scoring Assault Downs NC State, Earns Berth In Paradise Jam Finals

ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands — A standing ovation was in order for Cole Huff as he left the floor for the final time Sunday night. The Creighton faithful, who took the decibels up a few notches inside the University of the Virgin Islands, gave it to him, too. He wasn’t alone in earning the praise, but he played a huge part in the 2016 Paradise Jam semifinals.

Huff led seven, yes seven, Bluejays in double figures to beat NC State, 112-94, with 20 points and 10 rebounds to advance to play Ole Miss in Monday’s championship game.

Shooting over 60 percent from the floor will help any team. And when it is Creighton, with the way its playing right now, that is scary thing for opponents.
