La Lumiere's Brian Bowen Basking In Big Wins, Heavy Recruitment

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Brian Bowen appeared from the doors of the home locker room at Chaparral High School, soaked from head to toe from the water celebration, as happy as any Saturday night. The La Lumiere star wing is having the time of his life, and the 91-44 beatdown of Westbury Christian was another reason why.

Bowen didn’t play the game of his life at the American Family Insurance Hoophall West. He didn’t have to. The Lakers have so many offensive weapons that Bowen doesn’t need to be a one-man show. Perhaps that’s what makes big victories such fun for the No. 2 team in the country.

The No. 16 prospect for 2017 spoke with FloHoops’ Jaki Goldner after the game about this season and where he stands with his recruitment.
