Howard Pulley's Ryan Larson Splashes Deep Buzzer-Beating 3-Pointer To Advance At Jayhawk Invitational

Without star Flo40 point guard Tre Jones this weekend, Howard Pulley desperately needed someone to step up to advance in the Jayhawk Invitational Gold Bracket on Sunday. The Panthers got exactly what they were looking for in backup Ryan Larson.

A 6-foot floor general for Cretin-Derham Hall (MN), Larson did more than just step up. He was the hero in the quarterfinals at Drive 5. Whether it was the floater in the lane to tie it up with 15 seconds to play, a steal on inbounds to have a chance to win, or any of the several big-time moments before, all of it made it possible for the 2018 prospect to end Team Rush’s upset bid at the buzzer.

It was fitting Larson got the last shot. But to sink it from over 30 feet? Absolutely clutch.
