Ayo Dosunmu's Ability To Get To The Rim Is Unmatched

No matter if it is coming off a ball screen, using his handles to blow by defenders, or leaking out in transition, Ayo Dosunmu is one of the best bucket-getters in the country and is nearly impossible to slow down when he gets going downhill.

At 6-foot-4, with toughness and speed, the Chicago native and Mac Irvin Fire (IL) star was one of 12 prospects who saw a boost in the 2018 Flo40 rankings after averaging 21.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists during the Nike EYBL season.

While his jump shot remains a work in progress and shows signs of improvement, Dosunmu’s change of pace and ability to get to and finish at the rim is what makes programs like Florida State, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Northwestern, and Xavier, among many others, all eager to sign him.

With the Peach Invitational Tournament coming July 12-16 in North Augusta, SC, Dosunmu has another chance to prove why he is one of the toughest players to stop in high school basketball.
