Destanni Henderson Has A Handle On GEYBL Louisville

LOUISVILLE -- It's clear that Destanni Henderson has a handle on the EYBL. Henderson, currently ranked as the No. 1 point guard in the class of 2018, is the eyes, the ears, and the mouth of the Essence Girls Basketball team.  Whether she's blowing by her defender, finding the open man, or getting in the passing lane, it truly seems like Henderson is everywhere.

Unfortunately, all that college coaches can do is watch. Henderson, a native of Fort Myers (FL), committed to Dawn Staley's South Carolina Gamecocks back in January of 2017. Destanni cited Coach Staley, a former guard now recognized as one of the best in history, as the main influence in her decision. 

There's no doubt Henderson will succeed with the Gamecocks, but first, she will look to lead Essence deep into Nike Nationals on July 10-12. WATCH LIVE!
