Former NBA Player Keith Van Horn Loves Giving Back To The Game Through Coaching Colorado Premier
CHICAGO — In the middle of the madness here at McCormick Place, a familiar face roams the sidelines on one of the four main courts set for Nike Nationals. It’s former NBA player Keith Van Horn, and he is the head coach of Colorado Premier.
The No. 2 overall pick in the 1997 NBA Draft and a nine-year league veteran, the 6-foot-10 Van Horn traded in his sneakers for a clipboard about five years ago and enjoys these moments giving back to the game that brought him so much over the years.
In just the second season in Nike Girls EYBL, Colorado Premier made it to the Gold Bracket at Nike Nationals, which is quite an accomplishment for a young squad. And with Van Horn leading the way, one can only assume more good things are going to come in the future, just as they did throughout his playing career.
