Southern Stampede's Drue Drinnon Buries Spiece Indy Heat With Game-Winning Shot For Peach Invitational Tournament Championship

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC — Drue Drinnon does a lot of things well on the basketball court, but hitting game winners might be something he does better than almost any prospect in the country. The Southern Stampede guard did it again Sunday.

In a tie game, under 10 seconds remaining, and the Peach Invitational Tournament title on the line, Drinnon got by the pressure defense, pulled up, and buried a 15-footer to beat Spiece Indy Heat (IN), 65-63, at T.W. Josey High School.

For two teams which battled all EYBL season, it was only fitting it ended with more heroics from Drinnon.
