Avery Johnson Secures Alabama's Point Guard Future With Jared Butler

Avery Johnson is just getting warmed up in the college coaching game, but his ability to identify and land big-time point guards is already at a high level. The former NBA champion and third-year Alabama coach proved it once again on Monday night.

After locking in 2017 Flo40 No. 10 Collin Sexton for this season, and perhaps assuming he will go pro after his freshman year, the Crimson Tide reeled in their future floor general in Riverside Academy (LA) and Mississippi Express (MS) point guard Jared Butler for 2018.
