In a showcase that featured three FloHoops Top 10 teams, several Flo40 prospects, and a crazy NBA lineage, it was only fitting the final game between No. 8 Shadow Mountain (AZ) and No. 18 Sierra Canyon (CA) would be an overtime thriller to cap off an impressive weekend at the American Family Insurance Hoophall West.

Behind 19 points and 10 assists from Jovan Blacksher and four more players in double figures, the Matadors escaped the Trailblazers 80-78 at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, AZ, on Saturday.

The game didn't come without some controversy, though.

In the final seconds of regulation, with Shadow Mountain up two points, Sierra Canyon appeared to have tied the game after the buzzer sounded, but the officials counted the basket anyway and sent the game to overtime.

However, in the end, it didn't matter and the Matadors prevailed.

KJ Martin had 19 points, Duane Washington added 18, and Scotty Pippen splashed in 17 for Sierra Canyon, which is playing without Flo40 wing Cassius Stanley until Jan. 1.
