No. 15 Mater Dei Hunting For 2017 Les Schwab Invitational Trophy

For as much drama with early-season transfers, adversity with injuries, and setbacks with close losses No. 15 Mater Dei (CA) has already experienced this season, it would be hard for most teams to recover. Yet, the Monarchs are built to grind, continue to compete at a high level, and are still looking to prove why they belong in the discussion as one of the top teams in the country.

Led by Harvard-bound point guard Spencer Freedman, Mater Dei isn’t overly flashy, but it is smart, efficient, and will take down teams with strong outside shooting.
