No. 21 Sunrise Christian's Clutch Run Seals Upset Over No. 4 Findlay Prep

With the score tied at 59, and the pressure of a big upset on its shoulders, Sunrise Christian Academy (KS) didn’t back down. The No. 21 Buffaloes remained calm, rose to the occasion, and knocked down No. 4 Findlay Prep (NV) in the St. James Invitational Tournament semifinals on Friday.

First, there was a massive 3-pointer from Blake Hinson. Then, there was the loose ball rebound and flush by big man N’faly Dante. The result was a 67-61 victory and a berth in the tournament’s championship game against No. 13 St. Benedict’s (NJ) on Saturday.

It was a massive win for a program that has pieced together a strong resume all season and now has the opportunity to add another signature victory and bring back a championship trophy to Kansas.
