Panathinaikos BC knocked off KK Crvena zvezda in its season-opener, thanks to a combined 62 points from the overwhelming quartet of Nick Calathes (Florida), Jimmer Fredette (BYU), Deshaun Thomas (Ohio State) and Tyrese Rice (Boston College).

Calathes led the way with 21 points and 7 assists.
