Can Oregon Snatch Flo40 No. 4 Bol Bol Away From Kentucky?
Oct 9, 2017
The outside odds might appear different, but it is still too close, and perhaps too early, to call. All anyone truly knows is 2018 Flo40 No. 4 Bol Bol is officially down to two schools: Oregon and Kentucky.
A 7-foot-1 big man with a massive wingspan and an incredibly soft shooting touch for his size, Bol made the announcement to multiple reporters at the USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team Minicamp on Saturday in Colorado Springs, CO, that he has dropped Arizona, UCLA, and USC from consideration.
The Mater Dei (CA) and California Supreme (CA) star center already took his official visit to Oregon and is set to attend Kentucky’s Big Blue Madness event this weekend.
So which program will Bol choose?
Will it be Kentucky, which is known for taking highly touted prospects and developing them for the NBA? Or, will it be Oregon, a program coming off a Final Four appearance in 2017 that has an already solid start to its 2018 class with No. 17 Louis King and Miles Norris on board?
The options are as intriguing as they are significant for Bol, and there is no doubt either the Wildcats or Ducks will have an impact star immediately for the 2018-19 season.
