So what do Oregon and Pac-12 fans alike need to know about the 6-foot-8 small forward who chose Oregon over Seton Hall, Purdue, NC State, and Kansas? To start, he's a star for Hudson Catholic, a competitive program that is sure to crack the top 25 rankings this season. King averaged 13.3 points per game his junior year and went on to score 17.6 points per game in the Nike EYBL season with Team Final.
King is no stranger to playing with top-level talent, which has allowed his all-around game to improve drastically. His top-ranked teammates, including Jahvon Quinerly (Flo40 No. 14/Arizona) at Hudson Catholic and Cameron Reddish (Flo40 No. 3/Duke) with Team Final, rely on King's length and defensive instincts to create opportunities all season long.
