2023 Xavier Men's Basketball Foreign Tour Schedule

The Xavier Men's Basketball team embarks on a two-game foreign tour to the Bahamas.

2023 Xavier Men's Basketball Foreign Tour Schedule

The Xavier men’s basketball 2023-2024 season will unofficially start in August for the team’s foreign tour trip to the Bahamas. 

Xavier will play two exhibition games from the Baha Mar resort in Nassau starting on Aug. 8. 

The Musketeers are optimistic about the upcoming season. Last year, Xavier made it all the way to the Sweet Sixteen in Sean Miller’s first year back with the program since leaving for Arizona in 2009.

Xavier is looking to capitalize on the extra practices allowed from participating in the tour in order to prepare for the official start of the college basketball season in November.

How To Watch Xavier Basketball Foreign Tour Games

All two Xavier men’s basketball foreign tour games will stream live on FloHoops and the FloSports app.

FloSports will also stream foreign tour games for Purdue, Tennessee, Creighton and Penn State among other programs. 

Players Who Transferred Out Of The Xavier Basketball Program

The Musketeers saw four players from last year's squad leave.

 All of the players who transferred likely left to get more playing time at other programs. 

Here’s who transferred out: 

  • Dieonte Miles - Forward - Transferred to Morehead State
  • Cesare Edwards - Forward - Transferred to Missouri State
  • Elijah Tucker - Forward - Transferred to Longwood
  • KyKy Tandy - Guard - Transferred to Jacksonville State

Xavier Basketball Roster: New Recruits

Sean Miller had a very successful recruiting window for the class of 2023. 

Miller was able to obtain three 4-star players and one 3-star ahead of the 2023-2024 season. 

Here are the newest Xavier Musketeers: 

  • Trey Green - Guard - 4-star recruit out of Prolific Prep in Napa, CA
  • Reid Ducharme - Forward - 4-star recruit out of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, NH
  • Dailyn Swain - Forward - 4-star recruit out of Columbus Africentric Early College in Columbus, OH
  • Kachi Nzeh - Center - 3-star recruit out of George School in Newtown, PA

Xavier Basketball Players Transferring In 

Four new players are joining the Musketeers from the transfer portal. 

Former Western Kentucky guard Dayvion McKnight and Indiana transfer Logan Duncomb headline the 2023 Xavier transfer class.

What To Know About Xavier Men’s Basketball Coach Sean Miller

Following a successful 12 year run at Arizona, Sean Miller is back in Cincinnati. 

Miller previously coached Xavier for five seasons. During his tenure, Miller led the Musketeers to four March Madness births including an appearance in the Elite Eight. 

In his first season back with the team last year, Miller led his team to the Sweet Sixteen. 

Miller is undoubtedly one of the best coaches in the country and Xavier fans are hoping he can continue his success.
