The wait is finally over. The 2026 NCAA D1 Women's Basketball bracket has finally been announced. 

As the field of 68 teams is revealed, including the first four games, the competition across all four regions in this bracket is absolutely stacked. 

The bracket has been broken down in to four different regions. Two regionals will be played in Sacramento, CA, while the remaining two will be played in Fort Worth, Texas. 

Representing the CAA, the College of Charleston slots in at the 14th seed in the Sacramento 2 region. The Cougars will square off against Duke on Mar. 20 in Durham, North Carolina for the opening round of play.

When/Where Does Charleston Play Round 1? 

The Charleston Cougars will play in the opening round of the NCAA D1 Women's Basketball tournament on Mar. 20. Paired up against No. 3-seeded Duke, the Cougars will travel to Durham, N.C. for the contest.

The Cougars claimed a 68-56 victory over the Pride on Mar. 15.
