The destination was no surprise. Emmanuel Akot had already been committed to Arizona. However, it was his official arrival in Tuscon, AZ, that came a lot sooner than expected.
With an open scholarship available for the 2017-18, the 6-foot-7 versatile wing explored his options and stunned fans in May by announcing he would graduate high school a year early and play for the Wildcats next season, which starts during a three-game tour in Spain live on FloHoops.
