Flo40 Guard Devon Dotson Ignites Providence Day's Repeat Chances

Finding hoops talent in North Carolina will not be hard this weekend. Then again, it seldom is. It might just be a little difficult to keep track of it all, because one quick glance in the other direction could result in missing the biggest highlight of the game.
Devon Dotson is no stranger to such plays. At 6-foot-2, with a stellar combination of speed and strength, the Flo40 junior guard from Providence Day (NC) can be blur to defenders when he attacks. And you better believe he will do plenty of it Friday at Charlotte Country Day.
As the reigning Class 3A state champions, Dotson’s squad will be put to the test against High Point Wesleyan (NC) in the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association’s state semifinals. If it advances, it will play the winner of Cannon School (NC) and No. 24 Greensboro Day (NC).
A challenge to repeat? Absolutely. Nobody will want to miss, either, because there is bound to be some fireworks.
