Creighton Women's Basketball Storms Back To Beat Michigan State WBB

Creighton Women's Basketball has now won three games in a row as Bluejays eye return to AP Top 25 after successful 2023 Cancun Challenge slate.

A few days after dropping from the AP Top 25, Creighton Women's Basketball (5-1) bounced back with a pair of wins at the 2023 Women's Cancun Challenge.

The Bluejays will leave Mexico after rallying in the second half to beat Michigan State (5-1) 83-69 win on Nov. 24, just a day after beating Georgia Tech 57-46. 

One of the preseason threats to No. 8-ranked UConn in the BIG EAST, Creighton recovered from a 65-53 loss to Green Bay on Nov. 16 with three wins over Big Ten and ACC opponents. After beating rival Nebraska 79-74, Creighton headed to Mexico to take on two more Power 5 programs. 

Against Michigan State, Lauren Jensen and Morgan Maly exploded for the Bluejays with 32 and 26 points to lead the way. Creighton overcame a 41-39 halftime deficit to hand the Spartans their first loss of the season.
