Dynamic Backcourt Elevates Garfield's Game
Dynamic Backcourt Elevates Garfield's Game
Dominating is a good way to describe Garfield's recent run. And if a 105-8 mark over the last four years isn't enough, this season should be no different.

TEAM PREVIEW:
Dominating is a good way to describe Garfield's recent run. And if a 105-8 mark over the last four years isn't enough, this season should be no different. The Bulldogs will run with a dynamic backcourt of Daejon Davis (Flo40 No. 40) and Jaylen Nowell (Washington), and bring back three talented underclassmen -- Brooks, Goodman, and Kemp -- who bring length to the frontcourt. Despite losing PJ Fuller to transfer and three other notable players to graduation, there are enough pieces to take yet another Washington 3A state title. There's also a revenge factor after the back-to-back champions lost in the semifinals a year ago.
