No. 10: Greenforest Christian -- Decatur, Georgia
HEAD COACH: Larry Thompson
2015-16 RECORD (RESULT): 30-2 (Georgia A Private Schools state champions)
KEY RETURNERS:
PG: Justin Forrest (6-foot-2, 2017)
PG: Jandan Duggan (6-0, 2017)
PF: Victor Enoh (6-8, 2017, committed to Memphis)
PF: Abayomi Iyola (6-10, 2017)
C: Ikey Obiagu (7-0, 2017)
KEY ADDITIONS:
PG: David Quimbly (6-3, 2017)
TEAM PREVIEW:
This is far from giving the benefit of the doubt. Greenforest Christian is for real and returns seven of its top eight scorers from last year's 30-2 squad. Although one of the losses is a big one in terms of scoring, transfer David Quimbly will step right in and fill that void after going off for 40 points in a single game last season. While the backcourt provides a dynamic scoring punch, the front court is the strength of this team with height, length, and shot blockers. Greenforest Christian was snubbed of a berth to DICK's Nationals, which adds more fuel to the fire for the 2016-17 campaign.
