Iowa Women's Basketball star Caitlin Clark scored 29 points as the No. 5 Hawkeyes rolled over Purdue Fort Wayne

Caitlin Clark had 19 points at halftime and the returning All-American finished with 29 as she continued to make her case as the best player in the country. 

After Purdue Fort Wayne played the Hawkeyes close for much of the first half, Iowa pulled away in the third quarter en route to a 98-59 win during the Gulf Coast Showcase Day 1 nightcap in Estero, Florida. 

Clark entered the game averaging 30 points per game, the most in the country. Iowa's all-time leading scorer has now scored 159 points in six games. 

With the win, Iowa advances to the semifinals of the Gulf Coast Showcase and will play Florida Gulf Coast at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 25. FGCU beat Delaware 83-68 earlier in the day. 

No. 17 UNC and No. 16 Kansas State will meet at 5 p.m. and will play the winner of FGCU and Iowa on Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m. 

Purdue Fort Wayne will play Delaware at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 25 in the fifth-place, consolation bracket.
