Day one of First Round action in the 2022 Roman College Basketball Invitational ended with a bang.

Sunshine, surf and some high-quality basketball: Daytona Beach is once again home to the College Basketball Invitational.

The 16-team field for the 2022 Roman College Basketball Invitational is finalized.The 2022 Roman CBI tips off with the first four First Round games on Saturday, March 19 with the remaining four First Round games on Sunday, March 20. The Quarterfinal Round is on Monday, March 21, followed by the Semifinal Round on Tuesday, March 22. The Championship Game takes place on Wednesday, March. 23. All games will be played at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Less than 15 years into its existence, the CBI played host to college award-winners and future NBA stars, many of whom are still getting it done at the professional level today. This year’s edition is likely to produce someone that’ll be the center of a scout’s attention in draft boards down the line—the exciting part is seeing who it could be.
