Caitlin Clark dominated across Iowa's three wins at the 2023 Women's Gulf Coast Showcase en route to the tournament championship. The reigning Naismith National Player of The Year, and the likely No.1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, led Iowa in scoring in all three games. 

Iowa hopes to follow 2014 Gulf Coast Showcase winner UConn as eventual national champions. And if that happens, it'll likely be after yet another historic run by Clark.

Clark became the first player ever, men's or women's, in NCAA Tournament history to have a 40-point triple-double. Her historic tournament helped Iowa reach the national championship game where the Hawkeyes lost to LSU.

In the 2023 Women's Gulf Coast Showcase, Clark put up impressive numbers even her playing time was limited as Iowa won two games by a combined 77 points. Here's how Clark's stats looked at the tournament.

Clark scored 82 points in three games, an averaged of 27.3 points per game. She scored 29 against Purdue Fort Wayne and 21 against FGCU.

She shot 25-of-52 from the field and made 15 3-pointers.

Yes. UConn Women's Basketball won the 2015 NCAA Women's Tournament Championship. The Huskies won their second straight championship. But before that UConn won the Gulf Coast Showcase championship, beating College of Charleston, Vanderbilt ad Green Bay.
